Basic Functionality

Payment Routing
CBPay enables flexible, fully automated route control, whereby not only criteria of the route and the clearing procedure, but also individual requirements of the submitting partner can be considered.

Check Profiles

Extensive testing capabilities are among the key features of CBPay. Individual checks for different formats can be defined at any time for the existing check profiles and activated for input and output processing. This includes
• double processing blocker
• submission authorization
• field-related tests
• selectable error responses (reject, correct, log-only)

Security Concept

CBPay has a user management with roles and permissions control of every function and it can implement a four eyes principle. An integration into a single sign-on environment is possi-ble.

Cut off time Management

Many of the systems involved in a SEPA transaction do not work 7/24 but have time slots for processing. If a transaction is submitted at an unfavourable time, processing will be postponed by one calendar day and as a result the transaction is rejected due to incorrect mandatory dates. CBPay prevents such errors with appropriate logic.

Multiple-client Capability

The use of CBPay requires the setup of one “client” which is part of the basic setup. Up to two subordinate units (branches) can be created under this client if a hierarchical structure is to be mapped. Optionally, other clients can also be created if peer units share CBPay. This horizon-tal and vertical multi-client capability allows the use of CBPay for banking groups.
There is no logical limit for clients and branches, but such sophisticated configuration requires individual setup and agreement.

Partner-specific Processing

An important part of the CBPay architecture is Partner-specific processing. Each partner pro-file contains settings about recognition criteria, allowed formats, check profiles, fees and spe-cific clearing procedure.

Flexible Payment Routes

All payments in CBPay are controlled by payment routes. Payment routes can easily be cre-ated and changed based on existing formats, communication channels and partners. Checks, error handling, etc can be specified as well as booking information and cut off configuration.
